About Us

We are a liturgical and sacramental people. The worship at Redeemer comes forth from the Book of Common Prayer. We are committed to worship in Word and Sacrament, through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Church's mission is to fulfill the Great Commission given by Jesus: "Go and Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" (Mt. 28:19-20). A mid-week Healing and Prayer Service and Bible Study encourages us to grow through teaching, prayer, and up-lifiting one another. Community outreach is also important to us. There is something for everyone at Redeemer. The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer is located on 2100 Martin Luther King Avenue in the Oklahoma City area.
